The coal centrifuge is mainly used to separate the solid particles in the suspension from the liquid; or to separate the two incompatible liquids in the emulsion with different densities; it can also be used to remove the liquid in the wet solid; special The ultra-velocity tube separator can also separate gas mixtures of different densities; taking advantage of the different settling speeds of solid particles of different densities or particle sizes in the liquid, some sedimentation centrifuges can also classify solid particles according to density or particle size.
Centrifugal dehydration: The process of separating liquid and solid by centrifugal force. Two different principles can be used: centrifugal filtration and centrifugal sedimentation.
Centrifugal filtration: is to add the processed rotating material on the rotating cone screen surface. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid sticks to the screen surface and rotates with the rotor, and the liquid is thrown out through the material gap and the screen gap. Dehydrate the fine coal.
Centrifugal sedimentation: the slime water is added to the simple rotor, under the action of centrifugal force, the solid settles in the liquid, and the sedimented material is further squeezed out of the water by the centrifugal force, which is mostly used for the dehydration of coal slime.
Centrifugal strength: used to indicate the size of the centrifugal force on the material, which is the ratio of the centrifugal force and gravity on the material. The centrifugal strength is proportional to the radius of the rotor and the square of the speed.
Filter-type centrifugal dewatering machine can be divided into vertical and horizontal according to the screen basket installation method, and can be divided into inertial discharge, scraper discharge and vibration discharge according to the discharge method.
Working principle of coal centrifuge
Coal centrifuge is a kind of dehydration equipment that uses the centrifugal force generated by mechanical rotation to realize the separation of solid-liquid mixture. The slime passes through the material inlet and passes through the distribution cone to make the space between the screen basket and the spiral discharge rotor.
Under the action of centrifugal force, water and small particles (centrifugal liquid) pass through the material layer, pass through the screen, flow into the water collection tank on the upper part of the machine base along the upper cover, and then are discharged from the machine through the drain pipes arranged on both sides of the machine base. Outside: The coal particles are kept inside the screen basket. Because there is a speed difference between the spiral discharge rotor and the screen basket, the spiral discharge rotor scrapes the coal particles from the screen and pushes them to the bottom of the screen basket, thereby reducing The dehydrated slime (dehydrated product) is discharged into the collecting hopper under the machine, and this dehydration process is continuously carried out.
